Yacht Fiona of Whitby

• Apr. 28, 2006 - Peterhead

Arrived safely in Peterhead after a fantastic sail up from Eyemouth. We had a steady westerly wind and were doing over 7 knots at times with reefed sails! It was our first overnight sail of the trip and the sunrise over the sea was awesome. Now I know why we are doing this! After a day of essential repairs we will be off again. We need good weather to round Ratray Head and enter the Moray Firth and so far the winds are forcasted NW - just the direction we want to go! Thank you everyone who has read the blog and/or posted a comment. Please keep in touch. Our next internet access will be Inverness.
