Sailing area UK east coast and tidal Thames, lots of day sailing and short cruises with guest appearances from time to time on grander ventures. I've owned three boats over the years two of them wooden and all of them old and therefore cheap. First was a Pacific 28, built 1963 by Hallberg in Sweden, more recently a clinker Kestrel 22 built 1964, which has yet to be sold, and I've just bought my first GRP boat, a Verl 27 built 1978 which I'm refitting.
