Jun. 7, 2009 - Sight seeing in Northern Ireland

6th June:  After a late start, we spent the day sightseeing in Belfast. What a lot of "firsts" and "greatest" Belfast  can claim. Another good night sleep.

7th June: Decided to take day rail ticket to revisit Belfast and also Portadown, which we found is closed on Sundays.  We plan to leave for Whitehaven at 1600 tomorrow to catch the last two hours of the ebb in order to clear Belfast Lough and to catch the flood in the North Channel.   Easterly/North-Easterly winds forecast could make going difficult. We may have to divert to Isle of Whithorn or Peel. Next Internet access when we arrive Whitehaven.
