'The teapot was blue on a white background with a blue border. This was adopted after two Buchanan designs which were campaigned in the 1950s and 1960s being Taeping and Taitsing the old tea clippers. Both boats are still afloat with good owners.

Post these two boats father was known for relinquishing the helm to go below to put the kettle on 10 minutes before it rained. He is still fond of this "house flag".'
