Jul. 1, 2006 - Bobbing Barges Becalmed

We were up early to see the start off Clamp House at 0700. On the way to the start we passed many barges sitting majestically at anchor off Pin Mill. In the early morning mist it wasn't difficult to imagine yourself 100 years in the past.

Unfortunately the wind failed to show up so the bages ghosted through the start on the ebb tide and downriver out to sea.
