I just returned from a meeting of the Port Isabel Lighted Boat Parade coming up on December 1st.

 

Because the City of Port Isabel is so negligent in getting the entrance channel to the fingers dredged out ("hey", "it's gonna start ANY DAY now"), there is going to be two areas of judging this year.....one in the fingers, and one outside Pirates Landing Pier (for deep draft boats).

 

I will be hauling out Olivias lights and decorations in anticipation of this years event. I intend to win the sailboat division, so Night Magic.....look out.

 

Formal plans are top secret at this time.......
