I haven't had 'Div out much lately......seems like there's just been too many things standing in the way, and every time I make plans, some emergency crops up, and I'm left to simply run the engine and exercise the tranny in the slip for that week.

Within the next several weeks it appears as though the commander and I have the continuation of some consulting work we began last year at this time, and so we will be conducting some sub-aquatic biologic survey work in "deep" water....requiring SCUBA and all of its attendant idiosyncracies.....

Which will require the use of Olivias dingy, and Olivia herself as support vessel. The plan is to put 'Div on the hook outside the survey area, and use the dingy to set transect lines, and as diver support.

Of course, 'Div will be there for us to assemble the raw data, eat lunch and rinse off. Should be a pretty good exercise. Not to mention the potential to use this as a tax write off....Always think ahead. 

I'll provide a complete summary afterward.

On a completely unrelated note, here's a YouTube clip of the twins doing a folkloric recital this past weekend at the Port Isabel Lighthouse....See if you can guess which ones they are. It was Market Square Days, and the various vendors sold foods like menudo, aguas frescas and tamales...all standard fare for us around here, but maybe a bit exotic for some of ya'll. Funny, I guess were we to visit your homeports, it would be exotic for us....
