Even though Maggie is staying in the water, except for a short while to get her antifouled etc, there still seems to be a long list of jobs to do....

 

We didn't sail this weekend, primarily as it was bloody windy, and absolutely chucking it down!.... we did however spend a while writing a list of jobs that need doing....

 

Finish forepeak wood trim

Make forepeak cushions

Carpet forpeak walls

Make forepeak overhead storage units

Cut last 4 stowage holes in new forepeak berths

Make hanging stowage bags in forepeak

recover other berth cushions

make backrest for main cabin seats

relocate 6 winches

service all winches

fit clutches and organisers to deck

fit 2 part reefing lines

fit coaming 'water stopper'

repair autopilot mount

fit strap for spare gas bottle

fit new rope tidies

fiddle book shelf

fit steering compass permanently

repair sprayhood

make cover for galley stowage

replace curtains

make cover for anchor locker

fit radar

repair battery gauge

repair bottom companionway step

fit gas tap in main cabin

fit hatch stay

replace broken sole board lifting catch

refix trim on sole boards

add spinnaker uphaul and downhaul gear

repair stbd saolar panel mount

make hanging 'tidies' for heads

remove cooker and clean behind it, plus replace flexible hose

move cooker gimbals forward 1"

replace engine bilge pump pipe

identify and fix minor oil and water leak behind engine

unbung cockpit drain

varnish teak rubbing strip on stern

remove old self steering mounts

fit MOB recover ladder

change oil and filter

check gearbox oil

antifoul

replace anodes

clean and polish topsides

cover mooring warps with hose pipe

print out radio and mayday details for above chart table

fit new jammers onto traveller

fix squeaky sole board

refix trim material on quarter berth

fit new stern light

service all seacocks

service sea toilet

replace teak trim ring round mast entry into cabin

fix leaking wash basin plug/drain

 

Well thats all we could think of....!

 

Guess it'll be a busy winter.... I'll be checking them off one by one....
