mmmm .... thanks for making the point on the timescales. I havent re-registered Lechwe yet and was thinking about how long they take to turn it round. I definitely cant be without the papers because they demand to see them each time we go into a Spanish or Portuguse marina.

I showed the old registration doc plus the bill of sale to show transfer of ownership, and they are happy. Only problem is the previous owner has written to the registry to dis-own the boat so I think I will have to start again from scratch. :(
