Jan. 4, 2007 - improving odds |
I knew my instincts over this new estate agent were right.... despite the Thursday viewing not resulting in an offer, they have got two more viewings arranged, for Friday and Saturday.... thats 3 viewings in a week... it took the previous estate agents 6 weeks to reach that number.....
One of the things we suspect might be putting people off is that the hall and stairs carpet is knackered.... we were waiting until the kids were a bit older to replace it (OK OK..... we spent the money on boats instead....) but if neither of these viewings show any progress towards a sale we may well replace the carpet anyway..... its a pain spending the money, but it is the first part of the house that people see when they come to look round, and first impressions count and all that.... |

What did you think of the Kalik? Worth looking at?

Probably not for me..... wouldn't be my choice of layout internally.... and in my price range, would probably want a new engine and various bits replacing etc... It just wasn't quite what I would be looking for looks wise either.....but a great boat none-the-less...
4 things that were particular noticeable:
Simply enormous down below, with more storage space than you could possibly ever surely need....
Very powerful.... even in lightish winds, she was zipping along at 6.5kts on the wind
Acres of deck space for lounging around, or probably more importantly, for safer visits to the front in less than ideal weather....
Clearly built to be very very tough.... no doubting her construction quality
If they appeal to you aesthetically, then i'd definitely consider one...
