Jul. 28, 2006 - Big Momma

Adventure comes in many forms.

We're preparing to wander and friends from Winterhawk are heading a different direction.  We all went to provision and on the way they pulled into Big Momma's House.  Soul food buffett.  Big Momma was doing the cooking in plain view through a door...

Fried chicken, chicken and noodles, fried okra, collared greens, field peas, green peas, smoked sausage, mashed potatoes and gravy, and better meatloaf than my momma makes(sorry Mother, but it's true)....

I don't want to know the special ingredient but it sure was the best food I have had in months.

If you are ever in SE Georgia, make the drive to St. Mary's and go to the hole in the wall called Big Momma's House.  I personally guarantee your satisfaction.  I also guarantee your clothes will not fit correctly afterwards.  I know thy Big Momma is so named.
